If you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, PTSD, grief, or other distressing issues that are linked to painful negative thoughts or beliefs, EMDR may help. At Wise Hearts, we offer online therapy and counselling sessions for patients across Ontario.

Unlike many other modalities, EMDR therapy doesn’t require that a client discusses a traumatic event in detail, and focuses on providing the necessary components and atmosphere to allow the brain to do what it knows how to do in healing trauma.

I strive to provide a non-judgmental, safe, collaborative and person-centred space for my clients. I hope that through our work, you can live your life more fully, with less fear, more confidence, and with better understanding and acceptance of your authentic self.

I employ an integrative approach, creating a collaborative plan with you based upon your goals. While I have expertise and skill in the psychotherapy process, you are the expert in your life and I deeply honour that.

Depending on your unique needs, our treatment plan may include interventions from modalities/approaches including Polyvagal theory, mindfulness, AIP (adaptive information processing model), ACT (acceptance and Commitment therapy), Somatic therapy and CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy).
